Family Promise is always in need of fuel donations. Should the Spirit move you to help, please donate FUEL ONLY gift cards from KWIK TRIP.  Cards of $10, $20 or $30 preferred. Please place them in an envelope marked Family Promise and drop them in the collection plate or the parish office. Thank you.

At Family Promise we help

homeless families become independent.

Family Promise is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit, with each affiliate being run independently to assure services are matched to each community's needs and resources.

Family Promise of Waukesha provides temporary housing to homeless families, provides assistance to families threatened by eviction, and provides emergency shelter if needed as a last resort.  All families are vetted and must continually demonstrate they are working towards achieving set goals.  They are required to attend free, personalized, counseling sessions and to become gainfully employed.  Permanent affordable housing and a self-reliant lifestyle is achieved by those who graduate.  Furthermore, we remain in contact with the grads and provide further assistance if needed.  FP assists  families with dependent children who lack stable housing, not single adults. That said, Family Promise and SVdP continue to work hand-in-hand in many areas.
